Your privacy is important to WishMash. To better protect your privacy WishMash has provided below the policies about the way your information is collected and used by WishMash. For your convenience, we have placed the terms of this Privacy Policy on our website and application interface.

Information Collection

While using WishMash's application, software, services, products or web sites (collectively referred to herein as the "Application"), WishMash may collect certain information, some of which may be regarded as personal and private information. Such information includes:

User Provided Personal Information

When you choose to sign up to the Application, as well as during your use of the Application, you be required to electronically provide certain personal information, such as your email address, address, account password and information relating to your preferences (such as items you prefer). During the use of the Application you also provide various information relating to your preferences such as the items you add to your lists, the search terms that you enter and the advertisements that you click.

Wish Item content.

When you add items indirectly through the "share" feature or directly to the WishMash application, we collect a variety of information related to that item (e.g., price, model, picture). Third parties may see information that you include in your listing, and as such, WishMash has no control over how this information will be used. For that reason, please think carefully about what information you disclose in your Wish Item content. You can always edit or deactivate any of your wish Item parameters.

Log information

When you visit the Application, WishMash may use cookies or other similar means to identify your browser and specific preferences. WishMash may record information that your browser sends whenever you visit the Application (such as your browser type and language). When you are visiting the Application, the IP address used will be logged along with the dates and times of access, and the length and means of use of the application.

Third Party Shared Information

WishMash may receive from third parties (such as Facebook) certain information which you have approved to be publicly accessible (such as a user name, profile picture, age, gender, dates of importance), or which you have allowed such third parties to share with others. This Privacy Policy applies to Application and related services only. The third party sites through which WishMash receives your information may have different privacy practices and WishMash encourages you to read their privacy policies. WishMash cannot review or audit the approvals you provided such third parties or their respective privacy policies and therefore treat such information received from third parties as information which you approved as public. Please advise us as promptly as possible if otherwise.

Means of Payment

For certain services which WishMash may provide, WishMash may request credit card or other information related to means of payment (which will be maintained in secured servers).

Advertisements

The platforms on which the Application is provided (including Facebook), may also act as a third party advertisement vendor and may use cookies to serve ads. The use of cookies by such platforms enables them to publish adverts to users that are based on their visits to the Application as well as other sites and applications. Tracking of users through these mechanisms are subject to the third party platforms own privacy policies. Please be advised that WishMash, as well as other ad servers or ad networks, also track users activities on the Application to measure advertisement effectiveness and for other commercial uses. You are advised that WishMash has no access or control over third party ad servers or networks.

Information Updates and Deletion

WishMash will make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your user specific personal information to correct and update your data or to delete such data at your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Information security

WishMash is utilizing security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of user related information, which are at least par with market standards. Such security measures include various technological means, reviews and periodic checkups and imposing restrictions on personal which have access to such information (such as log-in restrictions and confidentiality undertakings). Although we make good faith efforts to store information in a secure environment that is not made available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.

Third Party Websites

During your use of the Applications, you may be required transferred (via links) to third party websites and application. WishMash is not responsible for the privacy policies on such websites or applications. You should be aware that the privacy policies of these websites or applications may differ from WishMash's.

Use of the Information

General

The information WishMash obtains is used to improve WishMash's service, administer the application, enhance user experience, conduct market research, track user trends and movements and gather demographic information. In addition to the above, WishMash may use your information (individually, or as part of a composition or extrapolation of information created by WishMash) for the purpose of (i) providing services to third parties, including the display of customized content and advertising; (ii) auditing, research and analysis; (iii) optimizing the technical functionalities of the Application; (iv) reviewing and enforcing users compliance with the Terms of Service (located at GT&C); (v) providing personalized content and information; (vi) processing user inquiries and respond to user requests; (vii) to respond to a legal process or claims (including infringements of third party rights). WishMash may share with third parties information non-personal nature, such as the number of users who prefer a certain website or items. Such information does not identify you individually.

Additional terms relating to addresses

In order to utilize certain features of WishMash, you may be required to provide your personal address details. Such address details will be available on WishMash to all your designated Friends on Facebook, no matter your respective privacy policies on Facebook. Should you not wish to disclose your personal address details, kindly refrain from providing them in the Application.

Additional terms relating to marketing materials

WishMash will not use your email address or other personal information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent. WishMash may use your email address without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of changes in the Application or for customer service purposes).

Opt out of

If we propose to use personal information for any purposes other than those described in this Privacy Policy and/or in the specific service privacy notices (such as using your e-mail address for publication of special offers and newsletters), we will offer you an effective way to opt out of the use of personal information for those other purposes.

Amendments to the Privacy Statement

Please note that this Privacy Policy may be changed by WishMash from time to time. We advise that you review this Privacy Policy periodically in order to be up to date with our Privacy Policies.
